WE ARE ANGEL FUNDS

Angel Funds began with a desire to not just get those in need through “a moment”, but to be there for a season. We assist families on a 3-month, 6-month, 9-month and even 12-month basis. We hope that building a relationship will leave them with great memories in their toughest days. If you know grandparents raising their grandchildren or single dads with full custody of their children, please ask them to contact us at 844.91.ANGEL. Please also consider making a one-time or recurring donation so that we don’t have to turn anyone away! Unlike other non-profits, everyone at Angel Funds is a volunteer. This means: EVERY DOLLAR RAISED IS A DOLLAR THAT GOES TO THE CAUSE!

HISTORY

2021

A local company, Floyd Realty Advisors, has been coordinating monthly serve projects for its employees and contractors for many years. Due to Covid, they were unable to serve on a monthly basis due to restrictions. Instead of waiting for another opportunity to serve, the administrative staff decided to begin their own non-profit to assist those in the community that needed a lift. ANGEL FUNDS WAS BORN!

Angel Funds is a 501(c)(3) with a desire to not just get those in need through “a moment”, but to be there for a season, assisting families on a 3-month, 6-month, 9-month, or 12-month basis. The hope is to build a relationship that will leave the recipients knowing they were cared for.

2022

In January, the first family we served transitioned out of our program. Two of our volunteers delivered their final monthly gifts, at which time the grandchild handed a hand-written thank you note to the volunteers, asked everyone to join hands, and prayed over us and the program because it had meant that much to her. We at Angel Funds will always see our recipients as family and look forward to growing and continuing our relationship with the additional families we have embraced into our program, too!

Angel Funds is currently seeking to assist many more families: grandparent(s) who are raising their grandchild(ren) and single dads with full custody of their child(ren). MANY in our community could use a lift. Thank you for referring them to our care!

To offer temporary assistance to grandparents who are now the appointed guardians of their grandchild(ren) and to single dads who are the sole caregiver of their child(ren), as they are often not prepared for this role, but receive very little additional community support.
